Volcano Potatoes recipe post Thanksgiving side dish

I make this each year. All the kids love this as well as the adults. It can

bake while you get the table ready to serve.

 

Volcano Potatoes

 

6 to 8 cups of fresh mashed potatoes

1/2 whipping cream

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mound the mashed potatoes in the center of a round

casserole dish. Form a medium deep crater in the center.

Beat the whip cream until thick, fold in the cheese and fill the crater so as

this bakes for 20 minutes the cheese will bubble up over the top.

Now here's a recipe I won't mess up. Best thing about this group is,

there's always a recipe for everyone. Even the ones that struggle in

the kitchen. Now I know a lot about the can opener.

I will give this recipe a try.

MM, my dh will love this one, he luvs potatoes tremendously!
