Guest guest
It's going great!!! I bought a couple of Gardenburger products yesterday, the " riblets " and " burgers. " I tried a " riblet " last night at dinner, and I LOVE IT!!! It tastes JUST like the real thing!!! I don't think I'm gonna miss meat at all. I started drinking Silk Soymilk, and although there is a slight difference in the taste of it and regular milk, it's not that noticeable, so I'm loving it too!!! And the best thing about it is, I'm not using an animal's flesh to satiate my taste buds. :-) It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...:-) ***Sara***
Guest guest
I JUST LOVE THE SILK CHOCOLATE SOYMILK!!! It's SO good. A question I have about soymilk, by the way...can you use it in anything that you would use regular milk for, recipe wise? Just wondering. :-) ***Sara***
Guest guest
I think I may have seen the Organic Valley near the Silk yesterday, but I'm not sure. I'll look next time I go to stock up. :-) I decided that about twice a month I'm gonna go to the Wal*Mart closest to me (our local grocer, Foodfare, doesn't have as much of a vegetarian food selection as the Wal*Mart Supercenter does) and use some of my baby-sitting pay to stock up on mock meats, vegetables, and soymilk. I can't believe how affordable the mock meats are!!! At Wal*Mart they're between about 2 and 3 bucks a box! It blows my mind! Hehe! And the soymilk is so affordable too! When I thought of becoming vegetarian when I was younger, I always thought that it would just cost too much to buy the mock meats and such. Boy was I wrong!!! :-p ***Sara***
Guest guest
great! so good to hear, and your body will thank you as well. as for the soy milk, I switch between silk and organic valley. They have very different tastes, the organic valley is much creamier, but he silk is not as sweet tasting. as for the chocolate milk, I used to onlybuy the silk, once I discovered organic valley chocolate soymilk I never went back tot he silk chocolate because it is so much more creamy and good! hugs, Chanda - RhymeMaster0313 Monday, November 07, 2005 12:35 PM Re: Now here's turkey I could eat... Guest guest
I use soymilk in my cooking... When I am baking I will very often use vanilla soy in other things like mashed potatoes I use regular soy. Gayle
Guest guest
Pardon this probably really stupid question, Chanda, but isn't Organic Valley dairy milk? Or am I mixed up. (which is highly likely!) Thanks for the help!
