Guest guest
I tried the greens recipe. The flavor was pretty good, they still seemed very tough though. I know that these are like the healthiest foods on Earth and am determined to like them! Should I try using mustard greens in the recipe instead? Also, what do you do with Kale? I always find recipes steamed kale with garlic. That is still kind of harsh for someone not acclimated to green yet!

Guest guest
I bought the bag of rinsed pre-chopped so i did not chop again and return to the pot. This makes a difference? Well, I have greens left, so I'm going to try it for lunch! Thanks! , " PuterWitch " <puterwitch@c...> wrote: > > did you cook them for the 15 minutes, then cool, then chop, then return tot he pot? Guest guest
P.S. Does all of this cooking kill the nutrients in the greens? , " Melissa " <mapalicka> wrote: > > I bought the bag of rinsed pre-chopped so i did not chop again and > return to the pot. Guest guest
no, not as long as you consume the liquid that they are boiled or steamed in, or if the liquid cooks down, that is ok too, just don't pour that liquid away. hugs, Chanda - Melissa Saturday, November 05, 2005 2:26 PM Re: on the topic of greens P.S.
