--- Soleil,

nothing quite as severe as you but cardiologist gave me clean bill

of health last week--spent more time in waiting room : ). I've only

been veggie for 3 months but usually I have had first cold of season

by now except I haven't yet : ). my skin is also REALLY clear and

smooth. my mom used to give me grief for not wearing makeup anymore

but now she wishes for my skin : ). here's hoping I can attribute it

to new eating habits : ). take care...

I haven't had anything worse than a bad cold the past 3-4 years. I

guess about 4 1/2 years ago as I was transitioning I had a horrible

sinus thing, but that's the worst I've had. And last year, living in a

new state, working at a new job, I think I only got one cold. When I

moved out here (Iowa) my sister turned me onto the Emer-gen C packets.

I drink one every day and it's a great compliment with my prenatal.

I think even after my pregnancy I'll continue with the prenatal, I've

finally found a veggie one a day (by Rainbow Lite). I didn't get a flu

shot; but I really don't think I need one.

I've noticed since being vegetarian my Reflux/GERD has almost all but

gone away. Every once in a while I'll have a bout, but it's usually

because I've had a cup of coffee or something else that sets it off.

And of course, now being pregnant, I've had acid indigestion more

often. But it was the best way to get my Reflux under control!

Wow, Denise, I had no idea going veg could help with that. I have a

friend with reflux... I doubt he'll convert to veggie anytime soon,

but he does try a lot more veggies since I've known him. Thanks for

sharing that!

anne!

my skin improved so much, too! i used to frequent the dermatologist,

but since being so busy with work, i don't have as much time for it,

but everyone wonders how my skin has been improving. ;-)
