Guest guest
1) PT I made your cranberry crispies and now the botton on my shirt is very tight......I loved them. Thank you! 2) Chanda you want me to post my picture? Oh girl, you got it. Will do that tonight. Have to find a recent one to scan and post. 3) Paul like you, I never heard of agave anything. Didn't know it was fermented into tequila. Goes to show we learn something constantly. I sure love those strawberry " agave " margarita's. I'm interested in trying the nectar now. Guest guest
I think that is only a temporary thing that your body is getting used to. You will find after time, that if you eat right, that doesn't mean just cooking al the desserts here in the group, LOL, but if you eat a lot of veggies and low fat choices with foods you will find you will lose weight. It is true. I quit smoking and started eating more, but I eat more greens and broccoli, and in my veggie dip I use veganaise (stillhas fat but healthier and less fat) and just my choices all around are healthier, and ya know what, I didn't gain nay weight yet and it has been over a month now! hugs, Chanda - Jane Monday, November 07, 2005 1:46 PM Re: Att: PT and Crispies, Chanda and my picture, and Paul and the agave Lewanna, this made me laugh! Guest guest
Chanda, my problem isn't the healthy eating part, it's cooking and eating so much more!!!! I used to make two dinners a week and we would eat the left overs the rest of the time and eat out once. Now....I'm trying new dishes every day or every other day, and loving them all! I mean...really loving them!!!! LOL But you are right in everything you mentioned. Jane <<I think that is only a temporary thing that your body is getting used to. Guest guest
it will even out, just so long as you eat theones that are healthy primarily, and the fattier ones not as often, it will even out, I promise. ) hugs, Chanda - Jane Monday, November 07, 2005 9:09 PM Re: Att: PT and Crispies, Chanda and my picture, and Paul and the agave Chanda, my problem isn't the healthy eating part, it's cooking and eating so much more!!!! Guest guest
Y'all know what is REALLY cool about this veg thing? I'm a Type II diabetic and I have been getting lower and lower numbers in my blood sugar testing every day!!! WOO HOO!!! and I read on the PCRM.com site about this lady who got her numbers down 200 points (that is significant, believe you me) in about six months!!! I can hardly wait!! ANNNNND...she stopped having to use her meds, too! I'll still have to use the pesky insulin,,,<cavil, cavil> but not as often, I betcha. And, when my hubby's insurance kicks in six months from now, hopefully the inhaler for insulin will be in place. WHOA, I hate diabetes, but this is a great time to have it even so. Particularly with learning the vegan diet is the absolutely BEST for diabetes!!!! Can you say, " excited " ? and did y'all also know that Mr. Rogers was a vegan too? found that out on www.vegparadise.com...He<http://www.vegparadise.com...He>had a show one time for the liddle kiddles on soy and other good things to eat/drink! :>) Bron On 11/7/05, PuterWitch <puterwitch wrote: > > I think that is only a temporary thing that your body is getting used to. > You will find after time, that if you eat right, that doesn't mean just > cooking al the desserts here in the group, LOL, but if you eat a lot of > veggies and low fat choices with foods you will find you will lose weight. > It is true. > I quit smoking and started eating more, but I eat more greens and > broccoli, and in my veggie dip I use veganaise (stillhas fat but healthier > and less fat) and just my choices all around are healthier, and ya know > what, I didn't gain nay weight yet and it has been over a month now! > hugs, > Chanda > - > Jane > > Monday, November 07, 2005 1:46 PM > Re: Att: PT and Crispies, Chanda and my > picture, and Paul and the agave > > > Lewanna, this made me laugh!
