Guest guest
--- Denise, I saw the Silk nog last year but have resisted because the thought of drinking " egg nog " even in omni days grossed me out royally. now being as Silk isn't likely to be the same thing, I am going to try it this year : ). I will likely venture out towards a bigger town this weekend and see if anyone has it while shopping for a washer. ours literally blew up last weekend and new wasn't in budget since hubby needed to buy his ticket home for Christmas. so after a week of hauling laundry out and wet home, I'm ready for a new one : )...take care : ).............. Guest guest
Yeah, I never drank the other " real " stuff but when I tried the Silk Nog, it was divine. It has a thin consistency and actually refreshing. I love drinking it ice cold in a large wine glass. Only once did I try real homemade egg nog and that was pretty good; but I could never bring myself to drink the other stuff. Maybe give Pioneer Co-Op a call (in Iowa City) and see if they are carrying it, yet. It may still be too early in the season, but it will be coming soon. Best of luck finding a washer. My sister just dealt with her washer literally blowing up, too (the back caught on fire!). It was a Neptune, so don't get one of those! Going to the big city can be fun; we're heading to Des Moines for our next appt on Saturday and will spend a good majority of the day poking around; hopefully not spending too much money! Gotta do our Thanksgiving shopping. Guest guest
I, being a Southerner, have always made and loved Boiled Custard, a drink of soft custard. I bet I can adapt it real easy with soymilk! Whoa, this year is gonna be SOME fun with vegan stuff, I do believe. :>) Bron P.S. I'll post my results after I make the changes, okay? Guest guest
Here is Silk's website: http://www.whitewave.com/index.php?id=34 scroll down to find the Nog, just so you know what the package looks like. Helps when trying to find it in the store. I've never seen the Silk Chai, has anyone tried that? Denise , Laura holmer <americanmommy32> wrote: > > I used to love egg nog.
