Guest guest
Hey Bron, Mel and I will tell you the best vegan cookbooks we both have are " Garden of Vegan " and " How it All Vegan " You will find many easy to prepare recipes, they have humor, pictures and also tell you how to sub ingredients. I have both of the Uncheese cookbooks and all I have posted is one recipe, that's all I found between both books that I thought passed the taste test and honor if making it to our files. Hugs, Donna southernflower wrote: Hey Donna, Thanks for the welcome back. :>) Also thank you for the real reviews of her books. I guess I'll chuck them off my wishlist then. One recipe does not a cookbook make, does it? I'm workin' on stayin' well, too. hugs back, Bron On 11/9/05, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > Welcome back! > I have both her books. Guest guest
Bron, don't regret years of eating wrong. You have changed all that now, you're now on the right path to better health. You will now be able to help others that suffer from the same health issue, you can show them and explain how your change has helped you. southernflower wrote: Thanks, y'all for the good book reviews. I have all three of these on my Amazon wishlist (growing longer and longer and longer...lol...). I read reviews on vegparadise.com <http://vegparadise.com> about all of them, and then reviews on Amazon as well with five stars for all three. I love to cook " long " style so the Veg Planet one should be just great too! Thanks again! Guest guest
Donna, thank you for the encouraging words. I get it: think positive, right? <g> I am going to go on my diabetes group and just tell them and give them the link to the PCRM site, about how being vegan is the very best thing for diabetics. Not preachy, just the facts, ma'am! Bron On 11/11/05, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > Bron, don't regret years of eating wrong. Guest guest
Give them the addresses of all our groups and they can join and use our recipes, they are always welcome into vegetarian groups. They can read posts, grab recipes, and help themselves with links members post, etc. You are now able to teach and show them since you have changed your lifestyle and feel the benefits from it.
