James made Swedish pearpaj

James got into a baking mood on Monday and found the applepaj recipe

laying on the kitchen table. So, he decided to make it with the pears

we have. Oh my, it is so yummy! And he bought ice cream! (bad boy)

Next time I think I'd want the pears sliced a little thinner, but it's

very good.

Must try it with pears.

I'm making one for Thanksgiving so now I think I'll change and make it pearpaj.

I should update the recipe in the file. How think should the pear be cut?

I was wondering if pears would work, seemed like they would. There you go, I

have my answer now. How about peaches? We have to try that also. (:- ) Donna

The pears should still be sliced (and perhaps peeled), but just as

thin as the apples. James sliced his pretty thick.

Oh my, my mouth is watering just thinking of that dish with peaches!

Peach pie is definitely my absolute favorite type of pie.

I don't know if I mentioned this but this recipe reminds me of a

slump, which is an eastern (American East coast, not Far East) version

of cobbler.

Hmmm, I think I'll have a light dinner tonight so I can have dessert.

I've been too full the past two nights to indulge! :-)

I've never heard of a slump. Do you have a recipe?

Now you know I'm curious.

I have to start dinner now, I want to try something from the files. So many

options in that sentence.
