Guest guest Posted September 20, 2006 Report Share Posted September 20, 2006 Spicy Hot Dates 2 sticks butter (do not use margarine) 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cups flour, all-purpose 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper -- or more 8 ounces pitted dates Cream butter and cheese very well. Slowly beat in flour and then add cayenne pepper to taste. Take small pieces of the mixture and wrap securely around each date.
