Guest guest Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 Baby Potatoes in Garlic Sauce 1 1/2 lbs. baby potatoes Marinade for potatoes: 3 tbsps. corn flour 1/2 tsp. brown vinegar 1/2 soy sauce 1/4 tsp. ajinomoto (msg), optional salt and pepper to taste For the sauce: 1/2 cup chili sauce 1 tbsp. celery 1 tbsp. garlic paste 1 tsp. ginger paste 2 spring onions, salt to taste Peel and soak potatoes in cold water for 10 minutes. Prick with fork and marinate in the potato marinade mixture for 15 minutes. Deep fry in hot oil till light brown. Drain and keep aside. In a pan, mix all the ingredients mentioned for the sauce except celery. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes, add the fried potatoes. Simmer on low for 2 minutes.
