Guest guest Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 Spicy Lentil and Tomato Soup 1 medium onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed 2 tsps. garam masala 1 tsp. ground coriander 1 tsp. turmeric 1/2 tsp. chilli powder 1 1/2 cups green lentils, drained, chopped 2 pints vegetable stock Saute onions and garlic in a little of the stock until soft. Mix all the spices with a little water to make a paste and add to the onions. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add lentils, tomatoes and stock, cover and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. Moody friends.
