Crockpot Lentil Curry

 

2 cups dried lentils

1 cup Masoon Dal

4 red potatoes, washed, chopped

1/2 cup pearl barley

2 onions, chopped

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups green cabbage, chopped

2 cups vegetable broth

4 cups water

2 tbsps. + more to taste curry powder

1 tsp. five-spice powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

2 tbsps. soy sauce

4 cups cooked rice

Any mango chutney for garnish

 

Put all ingredients into the crock pot. Stir well to

mix thoroughly.

Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours. Serve with

the rice, I like

basmati rice, and any type mango chutney for garnish.
