Guest guest Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 Avocado and Pear Dip 2 ripe avocados, peeled and mashed into small pieces 1 ripe pear, diced fine (about 1 1/2 cups) 2 green onions, white and green parts chopped fine 1 jalapeno chile pepper, minced juice of 1 lemon pinch of salt Place all of the ingredients in blender and process until smooth, scrape sides at least once. Place in bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve chilled. This dip is a nice compliment with fresh veggies or crackers. If it is too spicy remove seeds of jalapeno before mixing. Makes 6 to 8 servings.. Calories 108, Fat 7.5 g, Carbs 12 g, Sodium 55 mg, Fiber 5 g.
