Guest guest
OH, it is Cilantro? Well, of course, I use Cilantro all the time. I never knew it was also called Coriander. Guest guest
Coriander tastes nothing like fresh cilantro at all. I believe it's the cilantro seed. I buy is ground and add to soups and stews. Cilantro has a completely different taste. I find coriander ground in the spice isle of the market in a small round jar. Guest guest
Zelda You should know that cilantro is called coriander over here in the UK, so what is meant by coriander in a recipe may depend on the origin of that recipe. It would usually be referred to here as fresh coriander as opposed to ground or whole coriander. Coriander seed is one of my favourite spices and I think I use it in 75% or more of the food I cook. It combines wonderfully well with cumin to give a really great flavour. Christie gourmet-garden-of-spicy-vegetarian- eatin , " Zelda " <zel29 wrote: > > What is Coriander?
