Hi  All

Names Frank, UK citizen living in Mexico City  my first

Posting.

               SALSA  RECIPE FOR EVERYDAY USE.

 

We use it for Rancheros, Tamales, Tacos  etc  the amount  specified

Lasts  us approximately  one month.

 

20-Serano chilies

1-Litre of puree

½-Onion

3-Garlic cloves

¼-Cup veg  oil.

Salt to taste

 

Boil chilies in water for about  7 minutes till they change

Color  from a bright green to a grey green.

 

In a blender combine onion  garlic with  1 cup of puree

Ad chilies to blender with salt and  chop.

 

In a pan  ad oil  combine all ingredients and fry  for  approximately

10 minutes.   

We freeze our salsa and defrost when needed.

Frank, what is the puree? Tomato puree, I would assume?

Hi Rain

Yes its Tomato puree, i did post it again once i relized my mistake,

it is a good salsa and hot, but the original recipe had 40 serranos.

Hello Linda

Yes tomato puree for the salsa recipe, i did repost when i noticed the

mistake sorry.
