Guest guest
ok, silly question. Do you scrub the cactus before cooking to get the spines off? Or after its cooked? Guest guest
I had something like this at a restaurant once and it was really, really good -- what does the cactus that you use look like? I've seen some at Walmart, I assume that's the right kind! Audrey S. Guest guest
I'm not sure where you live, but in Texas, they sell the prickly- pear/nopal already de-spined. In fact, my Mexican neighbors somehow keep the cactus in their yards free of the evil spines. If you're lazy, you can already buy it diced. If you're not in the southwest, then you may have to look for an ethnic market. , akfral wrote: > > ok, silly question. Do you scrub the cactus before cooking to get the spines > off?
