Now that's another thing I can eat cold out of the can. Donna

My husband loves chickpeas, so I will definitely try this soon. :>) Thanks

for the recipe. I have never tried chickpeas, I must confess. They look like

the way lima beans taste to me; waxy. But I will have to try them NOW,

because this recipe sounds delicious!

[veg_grp] Chickpeas

I bought 2 cans of chickpeas at Hy-Vee today. I was thinking about making a

batch of veggie burgers, and freezing them, for when the rest of the family has

hambugers. I have seen a couple of recipes, one is Rachel Ray's, which

hmmm...the other one is on about.com, and it looks very doable...the problem is,

if I make my own, they can't be easily thrown in the micro wave, as in Bocca

Burgers, (Which I bought also at Hy-vee for only 2.97, so I stocked up on them).

I do love my veggie burgers...and veggie tacos..yesterday I ate at Buenos, near

the Legends, in Kansas City, Kansas, and I ate a vegetarian black bean burrito,

which was really good. Atleast it avoided the, " Tacos, no meat, just put in

refried beans, " line.

Anyway, what recipe do you guys use for chickpea patties?
