Thanks everyone for the emails I got on and off-list.

Someone mentioned that you can go online to change doctors without

having to say " you're fired. " Well, I think you should tell a doctor

why you're switching.

When this doctor said he didn't think he could help me as he was not

the guy to tell me to go take some " root " of something, for example,

and that he doesn't think anyone should take natural treatments that

are not approved by the FDA, I said, " Well, then, I see we're not a

good match and I'll be going on the website to switch doctors. " I

think he was happy too! Ha ha.

And by the way, I wasn't going to a Kaiser doctor for advice on

alternative treatments, but I would like someone who is supportive of

my choices and not someone who has the reaction of jaw dropping to the

floor, shaking his head, when I said I am not pro-pharmaceuticals for

every little thing and I take natural treatments...I hurt my back and

needed to make sure it was just muscle soreness and not that I threw

something out of whack. The issue of natural treatments came up when

he suggested I take 2-3 pharmaceutical drugs to deal with the back

pain.

If anyone is interested in a good Naturpathic Doctor, I see Tanya

Baldwin, ND in Los Gatos and she has been very helpful with some

issues.

Or if you want the name of this doctor, I will give it offline. But if

you need some entertainment, go see him, it was rather funny (though

annoying) to see him nearly fall out of his stool :)

Take care,

Melissa
