Guest guest
Hey All! There is a new vegan supper club in San Francisco run by former Millennium chefs! I went last week and it was ridiculously delicious!! Four courses for $35 was a total deal when you consider the quality of the meal. A totally unique, cool experience. It's called Brassica Supper Club and the info is here: http://brassicasupperclub.com/wordpress/ There is a review at http://vegansaurus.com/ I hope everyone gets a chance to go! I think the next events are Saturday May 29 & Monday May 30th but double check the website to make sure. Best, Laura

Guest guest
Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Sounds like this is run by the chefs who worked at Usual Suspects in San Francisco. Their food was great, but these new prices seem a little high given other options out there, and the current economic climate. I hope they do well. Oh! Does anyone know what's going on in the Usual Suspects space these days? I know the owner tried a few things after these guys quit, but I hope he's still doing something veggie with it. Guest guest
Hi, just wanted to chime in on this topic and add that Millennium itself is offering multi-course meals on a regular basis, 3 courses for $38 and there's also a special one on 5/21 -- FIVE courses for $39.99. They've had other specials, too, like 4 courses $35, etc. For folks who enjoy this type of dining, sign-up for their mailing list to get notificaitons about this (i.e. businesses are not allowed to market on the SFBAVEG list) Oh, and remember there's that pesky $1 charge for the filtered tap water. But I guess if you're eating at Millennium, you can afford the extra dollar :-) http://www.millenniumrestaurant.com/restaurant/events.html Tammy My two cents, vegan-style .. - today or read it on GenerationV.org Save a life today - help us with public education & outreach 05/30 Veg Outreach & Education at Maker Faire - San Mateo County Fairgrounds 06/07 Food for Thought Book Club: Animals Rights Philosophy & Picnic - rescheduled - TBD
