I am unaware of an entirely vegan bakery in San Francisco, but there are several all-vegan bakeries that advertise via the internet and snail mail in VegNews. Two local brick'n'mortar sources of vegan baked goods are: 1) Other Avenues Natural Foods Co-op on Judah Street, between 45th and 44th Avenues in San Francisco has many vegan baked goods from a Santa Cruz vegan bakery; particularly good are the Peach Smile pastries and vegan doughnuts with raspberry icing; and 2) Peets Coffee on West Portal Avenue in San Francisco (a short walk from the streetcar tunnel) regularly has vegan double chocolate cupcakes and vegan scones. You have to buy 12 cup cake at a time. She did not do a good job on the vegan cup cakes. maybe next time (we were stuck with 12 not so good vegan cupcakes) Bob Gotch and a few veggies tried the cupcakes, you can ask them how it tasted. == " Love at First Bite " bakery, in Berkeley near Ghetto Gourmet has fairly good vegan cup cakes... but I'm not crazy about sweet cup cakes as my brother.
