Tony Tutto's is a vegetarian/vegan pizza restaurant in Mill Valley. It opened in January. I just went by to check it out. There are six vegan pizzas on the menu. Guest guest Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 Tammy and All, There's no vegan cheese and I don't think there's going to be, but the vegan cheeseless pizzas they have are good and the owner will put on the toppings you want; you don't have to stick to the 6 pizzas on the menu. He drizzles on olive oil after the pizzas come out of the oven. The ingredients are almost 100% organic. Unfortunately, the crust, as is traditional, is white bread, but these are good. Vegan cheese would not improve them. They're not pizzas such as those at Pizza Plaza, but they're worth a try. Guest guest Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 The owner is wonderful. These are not typical U.S. pizzas but I suspect they're authentic southern Italian pizzas. The place is definitely worth a try. There's one with arugula I haven't been able to try yet because the owner says it doesn't travel well and so far I've always gotten to go/to go back to San Francisco.
