Daiya cheese *probably not* at Rainbow this week.

Got this e-mail today from Gordon, cheese supplier at Rainbow:

 

" hmmmm, we hit some kind of snag. The Daiya 'cheese' was supposed to be in on

Friday to the distributor but it did not come in and they now say it's been

discontinued (by the distributor, not manufacturer). I'm trying to get to the

bottom of it, but I don't think it'll be here tomorrow. "

 

Bummer! But I'm glad Gordon is staying on top of it. Who knew it would be so

hard to get this awesome vegan cheese on the shelves?

I keep hearing about this Daiya cheese and yesterday, on Vegan.com, Erik Marcus wrote how great it is also, so I did a little searching, and found out you can buy it online at:
