Guest guest
Are you curious about veganism and want to learn more? Are you new to veganism and want to join a community of like-minded people? Are you a long time vegan and want to get more involved? Happy new year! For our first meetup of 2010, we are offering a talk titled, “Rediscovering Veganism,†where we will share some refreshing ideas about veganism drawn from our years of activist experience. Whether you are thinking about veganism, a new vegan, or a long-time vegan, this thought-provoking talk has something for you! Family and friends, vegan and non-vegan, are invited and welcome. We will share a vegan potluck dinner together in downtown Oakland on Sunday, January 24th at 6 pm, followed by the talk and discussion at 7 pm. We are transit-accessible and there is no fee to attend. Come join the community in an evening of great conversation, great food, and thoughtful discussion! We strongly believe in a veganism accessible to all. African Americans, Latinas/Latinos, Native Americans, Asians, Asian Americans -- all those who make up our vibrant community are invited and welcome to all events. If you have any accessibility requests, please send us a note..
