The 4th SF Vegan Bakesale! Bakers & Eaters Needed!

Hi All!

We're in the planning stages for the 4th(!!) SF Vegan Bakesale and we want to see how many of you are in?! I hope it's all of you (plus everyone you know) because we have two awesome groups to raise money for! WildCare (http://www.wildcarebayarea.org/site/PageServer?pagename=About), the only place to take injured and/or sick wild animals for good quality care in the bay area (they even take pigeons and mice and are the ONLY wild animals rescue group that will take skunks!!). Seriously, if you ever find a wild animal in need of help, CALL THEM! The other charity is Virunga National Park in DR, Congo (http://gorillacd.org/). The money that we raise will be used to protect the mountain gorillas who live in Virunga. There are fewer than 600 mountain gorillas left in the world, and they desperately need the money to protect the ones who remain. The money we raise will go a long way toward helping.

11 am to 4 pmLocation: Ike's Place on 16th Street at Sanchez.

That said, we need: bakers, volunteers (but really, we just need a lot of bakers), people to help get us press! (uh, publicists and people generally just good at spreading the word), people to hang flyers before the sale and pass them out in coffeeshops, people to just stand around and look cute.Whatever you're interested in, please let us know asap so that we can get going on flyer, press releases, etc. If you are a bakery and want your bakery advertised, let me know!

After the amazing success of the last sales (almost $10,000 combined!!) so we know we have our work cut out for us. Since we usually sell out pretty early, we want more bakers! We also want to be just as good about getting the word out so that it's crazy-busy the whole time. I know we can do it and it will be ridiculous and we'll make a million dollars.
