Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to Raw foods and not completely there yet but I'm working at it. I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to -- what is SAD? when it refers to RAW? I know SAD as Seasonal Affective Disorder and that's something that I really do have (though my doc says no). Can you help me out here? I love having a fruit smoothie for breakfast. Ever since I read Fit-for-Life I've been trying my best to have just fruit for breakfast. Making it into a smoothie (sometimes with the addition of a few nuts) really makes for a good mental day. I still have problems with lunch because I hate to pack a lunch for school (I'm a teacher) so I end up with soups a lot. Easy and quick which is what is needed (QUICK!). Suppers are getting better though I don't always eat raw. Sometimes I think I still need that animal protein. Working at it though. So what is SAD? Guest guest
Standard American Diet, meat and animal products three times a day, bread, sugar, veggies as a side, fruit rarely. I just came up with an acronym for RAW, Righteous Acknowledgement of Worth. Can anyone else come up eith an acronym for RAW? I eat pretty light until the afternoon then I have to have my avocado and later some raw nuts. There's some protein in everything and we only need as much as the plants provide. Guest guest
I think that's an excellent one. There's water in all the fruits and vegetables. rawfood , " Siviax3 " <siviax3@c...> wrote: > > Ripe And Watery. Guest guest
Dear CJ, Someone may have answered this by now, but SAD is Standard American Diet and the pun is obvious. I love smoothies too and always put almonds in. That keeps me going. One lunch I love is cut up apple with nut butter. I eat it almost every day. It would be easy to take to school, and is satisfying. Dinner is fruit or raw veggies, whichever suits me. Good luck, Lane - PrpleRoses2 rawfood Monday, January 10, 2005 8:41 AM Re: [Raw Food] Digest Number 1035 Hi, I'm new to Raw foods and not completely there yet but I'm working at it.
