Guest guest
Ok, I got a Champion juicer on ebay for $50. Well, she's 30 years old but works like a dream and purrs like a kitten. I made juice with chard, kale, collards, spinach and an apple... what does one do with the pulp? Use it as a facial mask? Make something in the dehydrator? Feed it to the household pets? Thanks, Annette
Guest guest
I throw it away, I don't think it has much use. The nutrients have all been juiced out for the most part. why would I want to eat juiceless pulp. If I had a compost pile I'd compost it. Guest guest
I know people joke about throwing something in the compost heap, but seriously, if you or anyone you know composts, this stuff is like gold. Guest guest
Actually unless pressed, the pulp contains the highest ratio of minerals, vitamins and enzymes. That is why a Norwalk " TYPE " press is so beneficial. I can honestly say that you haven't really experienced juice at its maximum until you have had a pulp free pressed juice..... Now the only question is does your produce have maximum nutrients. Organic is only half the battle, it is still garbage - just without added chemicals. The key lies within the produce. The answer is out there and people who really want perfect health can have it. Cockybrit
