We can use food and also acts of elaborate food preparation as a distractions when we are bored. And so on. So there is a great need for most of us to focus on meeting these emotional needs in more constructive, self-supportive, life-affirming ways. Guest guest
Hi, I am not sure if I am over stepping my bounds here or not but I thought I would offer my 2 cents (øre?) I ran across this book a while back from a newsletter from the Ekaya Institute, I am sure most of you know them already. This book has been a great help to me perhaps it can help others with emotional (conditioned) eating. http://www.wellnessnet.com/lean.html Love and kisses, Lu
Guest guest
Hi Lu, Thanks so much for sharing this link and for introducing people to the Ekaya Institute (http://www.thegardendiet.com/ekaya/), nice content for people to explore. Speaking only for myself, I love when as many people as possible share their knowledge, insights, and resources. No such thing as " overstepping one's bounds, " at least not for me.
