Guest guest
Well, I've given up on reading every post at this point. Hi Margie. I just can't keep up with you guys. Plus, it's better for me to fill my time with other things. But it's been great to read every post for my first 90 days raw. That's right, I have 90 days of consecutive 100% raw today. You can all congratulate me. I guess I look at this like Alcoholics Anonymous does (I'm a member). I'll announce my consecutive raw time at 30, 60, 90 days, six and nine months, at one year and then at every year thereafter. I also look at cooked food as an addiction (mental and physical) just like AA looks at alcohol as an addiction. I've got lettuce, celery, cucumber, avocado, orange, apple, plum, broccoli, raw macadamias, filberts, pistachios, brazil nuts, tomato, spinach, squash, greenbeans and carrots right now as my food. Stay raw, stay healthy, stay vibrant, keep on trucking, Rich www.rawfoodeaters
Guest guest
A lot of what I'm saying and a lot of what I'm reading is getting redundant (exceeding what is necessary ) for me anyway. I don't agree with a lot of what's talked about on here, as I'm sure that's true for many of us. I have a raw food lifestyle and eating plan that I'm happy with and is making a better life for me and that's the important thing. But I did learn a lot reading every post for these past three months. rawfood , " Froggy " <seconaphim> wrote: > > Well, I've given up on reading every post at this point. Guest guest
Congratulations RICH !!! You are the man. I wish I had a RAW chip to give you. I'm in AA too, and one of my service commitments is giving out the chips at the monday night chip meeting here in Palo Alto. it's the best job there is. Everyone is so happy to get a chip. I've got 20 months without booze, drugs or smokes. I am having a tough time going raw. I'm not giving up though. I'll get there. Guest guest
I'll just use my AA chip to remind me of my sobriety in all things. Don't give up going raw (as if you could, I know I could never give up). I've been trying since about '91. I have a good streak going and it feels as if I'm in a good place to stay raw this time. Booze, drugs and smokes become easy after a while of trying to eat raw. Eating raw is very hard to do, of course, so is not " acting out " sexually (maybe that's the hardest). " Acting out " is their lingo if you've ever been to any of those meetings. rawfood , Rufus Shaw <rufus10_99> wrote: > Congratulations RICH !!! Guest guest
Congrats Rich!! What an awesome milemarker you have just crossed. I will be so glad when I can finally say I have had my first whole day raw. I almost made it Sunday, but ended up eating a small amount of my husband's stirfry veggies and then went to bed that night with what felt like a rock in my stomach! uggggsssss! I will definitely NOT do that again. Only raw before bedtime for now on! Ravyne Froggy <seconaphim wrote: Well, I've given up on reading every post at this point. Hi Margie.
