I have been taking the drops and would really like to get off them too. Thanks, Vegigran _____ Greetings! Something I have not yet shared about myself in this group is work I share called Dynamic Self-Discovery. Basically, this is an approach and techniques for ensuring that our consciously chosen beliefs, values, intentions, and goals are matched in our subconscious programming. Example: Suppose someone wishes to start a business and become financially successful. This person has experience, an MBA, good contacts and reputation in his/her particular industry, etc. Sounds great, yes? Now further suppose that this same person, at the age of 2 or 3, " learned " things such as: - You can't trust rich people. - Money is the root of all evil. - Money is hard to get and harder to keep. so that these beliefs form part of the " programming " in this person's subconscious mind. In other words, what the conscious mind presently intends conflicts rather directly with what the subconscious mind is programmed to support. In all likelihood, this person's new business will fail, or succeed for awhile then stagnate or fail, or the like. This occurs simply because his/her subconscious beliefs, or programming, simply cannot support any other outcome. If we had a way to modify the subconscious beliefs by adding new beliefs, THEN finally everything might shift. I imagine just about all of us have experienced an intimate relationship, watched it end for not entirely comprehensible reasons, then entered another " totally new " relationship, " only to find that the " new " relationship is largely a rehash of the previous one. Why do we do this? Why do we attract the same thing over and over again into our lives? For me, the primary answer is our subconscious beliefs. For example: - You can't trust men/women. - Men just want sex. - Women are just out for your money. and so on, would not likely form the foundation for a wildly loving, intimate relationship. On the other hand, beliefs such as - I love being attentive to my partner's needs and wishes. - I choose to be playful and expressive with my intimate partner/life partner. etc. might indeed constructively support a viable, lasting, loving relationship. Returning now to our eyes: Many of us have " learned " that " we can't stand the pressure, " " we don't want to know/see, " etc. All such people are at least likely to have some sort of eye/vision problem. So when we work on the underlying beliefs/programming, we can make shifts that are then reflected at the surface. Essentially, I used my own work for my own benefit, and it worked! More to come in my future, I'm sure!!! Hope this explanation is helpful, Elchanan -- ---------------------[ Ciphire Signature ]---------------------- vlinfo signed email body (2373 characters) on 25 March 2005 at 03:30:53 UTC rawfood ------------------------------- : Ciphire has secured this email against identity theft. : Free download at www.ciphire.com. I kind of know what you are saying, but not sure how you would apply it to the eyes. Would it be the same as someone who is tense and not relaxed because of these sub-concious messages, that would have high blood pressure? Our so-called " medical science " looks almost exclusively for physical problems to solve, but much of what we experience results from stress overload. This is why relaxation techniques " work. " However, the problem is that these techniques only " work " (in general) for a short time. We would have to restructure something from the inside out in order to create lasting change. Certain energy work may accomplish this. The Dynamic Self-Discovery work I mentioned in a post yesterday is a form of such work. I recognize that, without something more tangible to deal with, what I am describing must seem vague. I'm not sure how to communicate it more clearly, but I see the need and am thinking about that. I do know that our symptons are just a manifestation of a deeper problem. And when eliminating one symptom and not the problem, it will just re-apear somewhere else. Like the alcoholic that gives up alcohol without addressing the issues that got him addicted in the first place. He will just transfer that addiction to something else. Or am I way off base?
