Guest guest
Just a reminder to everyone, our primary daily fast occurs when we sleep through the night. When we awaken, our body is often still in a " cleansing " mode to some extent. If you can wait an hour or two or three before eating, your body will thank you. Also, if you can do some physical activity before your first meal, your body will REALLY thank you, particularly if you develop this habit over time. Guest guest
If you are not hungry, don't eat, 24x7, unless there is some extraordinary reason to do so. I have learned that most current " conventional wisdom " teaches us the opposite of the " truth. " In this case, we are taught that breakfast is " the most important meal of the day. " And for always-exhausted cooked fooders, I can understand why they'd need a " jumpstart. " But as your body becomes cleaner, lighter, clearer, you will eventually come to appreciate continuing the night's fast a bit longer, taking your first meal somewhat later in the day and even following some sort of physical activity. I always hear it is important to eat breakfast, however, I never want to eat in the morning . . . so I don't. Guest guest
I'll have to remember that, if I'm not hungry be brave enough to not eat. Sometimes I worry that just eating raw plant food isn't really enough sustenance and I need to eat more. So I eat when I'm not really hungry, like in the morning or late at night, because I'm worried that I won't get all the nutrition I need. I need to let this worry go and not eat if I'm not hungry. I get all the nutrition I need, it's just a fear of mine. But as my body becomes cleaner, lighter, clearer, I should appreciate not eating when I'm not hungry. Thank you Elchanan for posting about this. Rich rawfood , " INFO @ Vibrant Life " <VLinfo@e...> wrote: > If you are not hungry, don't eat, 24x7, unless there is some extraordinary > reason to do so. Guest guest
A corollary to " only eat when you're hungry " : Only sleep when you're tired. I could have gotten up earlier this morning, but I rolled back over, fearful that I wasn't getting enough sleep. I need to process all my emotions you know so that I can be perfectly comfortable raw. Well, I could have gotten up and I didn't need any more sleep. rawfood , " Froggy " <seconaphim> wrote: > > I'll have to remember that, if I'm not hungry be brave enough to not > eat.
