Guest guest
Thanks for this article, Elchanan; a couple of questions: Can you recommend a site that would have good alternatives in summary fashion for household products; my husband especially has an affinity for the 'spray after each use' shower cleaners, and since he is the bathroom cleaner in our family, it's hard for me to implement change in that arena. Also...can you point me to good sources for dealing with stress issues? Thanks for your help...Valerie Third, household toxins must be eliminated to the fullest extent possible. ALL cleaning chemicals for the house and the body and all cosmetics should be removed permanently and replaced with the cleanest available alternatives. The same is true for all lawn and garden chemicals, for anything kept in the car, and so forth. This is a comprehensive and permanent cleanup of every area of your life. Often the alternatives are easy, fun, and may save hundreds of dollars per year in many households. Fourth, sources of stress must be addressed and coping skills refined. Because this group emphasizes diet and nutrition, I only mention this point here. However, please do not confuse brevity with importance. At the very least, stress is a significantly disruptive trigger in the Parkinson's process.

Guest guest
My talking time is passing, what's up? Busy at 3, again at 4-something, then free later. Still free for about 1/2 hour now, have read much of that chapter. Guest guest
Very interesting! My father has Parkinson's and my sister has MS. I never realized that Parkinson's had to do with the myelin sheath similar to MS. My father was an alcoholic for a good 50 years (sober now) seems the link to alcohol could be a significant factor. Have you seen many with MS on a raw food diet improve? I would love to give my sister some info that would help her. Guest guest
You have missed nothing, I have simply misaddressed an email intended for one person and sent it instead to everyone. Sorry ...I am, in fact, not referring to anything, apparently! :) E Valerie Mills Daly [valdaly] Tuesday, March 29, 2005 4:41 PM rawfood RE: [Raw Food] Parkinson's Hi, Elchanan, am I missing something here?
