Lane,

To keep protein and fats under 10%, and usually in the 5-8% range,

eating lots of organic, fresh, raw fruits,(high in water), some

fruit/vegys (cucumbers, tomatoes), some celery and some " soft " lettuce

(s): young romaine, young spinach, young red leaf, etc. will do it.

For example, yesterday my calonutrient ratios were 90/4/6, with the 6%

being fat. Today after breakfast (629 Kcal), they are 94/3/3. If

you'd like a " screenshot " of what that looked like, or more info on

what was in the meal/s, please let me know, or any other info I can

provide. (if you want a screenshot, need your email address...)

In an earlier post, yesterday or day before, I'd posted how on 3/16,

when I first used Nutridiary, the ratios were 49% Carbs, 42% fats and

9% protein. Whoa! that actually hit me like the proverbial " ton of

bricks " ouch...the next day was 81/12/7 (12:fat), and the following

day was 87/7/6 (7:fat), then I was on a short (62 hour? fast -), and

then I came back. I just kept experimenting, seeing what was working,

and what was not.

My challenge remains avocados, with something like 66% fat in them!

I really monitor/control how much avo I'm having, and don't have it

every day.

Celery, at 77/16/7 (7=fat) really helps me balance out any avocado.

And I'm really beginning to " enjoy " the taste, the crunchiness, etc. of

the celery, like I never have before.

Hope this provides some insight.

regards,

Bob

I would say not completely; Dr. Graham talks about looking at monthly and yearly

averages, rather than day to day; you can safely eat a few nuts now and then

without throwing off your overall numbers. They just need to be used less often.

Peace,

Valerie
