Hello everyone, well so much for saying I am still 100% raw - I got

obsessed " with Indian food yesterday afternoon and I ate bananas to fill me

up and it went by tea time but by then I had already spoken of it to Nick

and put the idea into his head too!!

So we went and had the meal - cant say I didn't enjoy eating it but my

stomach afterwards was awful and we both said all evening we were bloated

and uncomfortable - me to the point of pain in my stomach and I am not used

to feeling like that recently. My breathing last night when I climbed the

stairs at bedtime was pretty bad too.

I wasn't going to say anything to anyone here - just pretend it didn't

happen but we are sick as our secrets and so I prefer just to say it and be

done and now it is ok. I have to be free of things and let go and enjoy

today as my HP intended me too.

Although I love the raw foods very much I sometimes miss hot food - had it

for all of my life and also some really savoury, spicy tastes - say's she

who had difficulty controlling her " sweet tooth " before.

On to other things - Nick is off work for the whole weekend and he fancies

trying another 24hr fast so this time I am asking advice on what is the best

time to start and how to do it really. I would be grateful if someone could

share their experience with me on this.

Thanks in advance - from a slightly subdued Lynne xx

Hi lynne,

I use this fasting system http://www.neerasupercleanse.com/ as it is

the one my doctor recomends. I don't for long use it for long term

bouts but for 24 or 48 hours fasts, nor do I use the tea. It is enough

that going from it to a lite fruit (melons, bananas ect) day for

transition works out well and safely. It can probally be found in your

health food store it is where I found it.

Just one of many ideas :)

Love and kisses,

Lu

If you choose this you will need this:

60 oz of water (10 oz per glass)

10 tablespoons nerra (1\2 Tbs)

12 lemons (1 lemon)

little over 1\2 t cyanne pepper (teeny tiny pinch)

This is enough for 1 person 1 day of the fast

Before you begin in a morning drink a large glass of salt water (1 t

salt to 10 oz water) and do this each morning of the fast and the day

after before you start on friut)

with Indian food yesterday afternoon >

Hi Lynne...

for a 24 hr. fast, I'd suggest the following:

preparation: at least 2-3 days of a good, high raw food diet

preferably

fresh, organic, high-alkaline, juicy fruits.) Finish off the last

night before the fast with an early dinner, say 6pm ish....consisting

of maybe some light redleaf lettuce, some celery and maybe a little

cucumber.... drink some good water about 8:30pm, and then to bed by

10pm : sleep...

fasting day: drink plenty of good, pure distilled water (blessed or

sunshine-reenergized), whenever hungry/thirsty throughout the day.

Primary need: rest...drinking water will rest the digestive

systems, and allow the body to focus energy elsewhere. Start the day

off with a nice drybrush skin scrubbing.

Get plenty of fresh air, and sunshine. Expose as much of the body

as possible to the sun, ensuring that the " solar plexus " chakra

(roughly abdomen area) gets sun. Avoid physical exertion. Rest as

many body systems as possible. Avoid emotional upsets/worries.

Think positive thoughts. go to bed early...maybe get a nap.

breaking the fast: suggest breaking it the morning after with 1/4 -

1/2 of an orange, or maybe half of an apple. Or a smoothie, made of

1 stalk celery, 2 dates, and 1/2 small banana with lots (16 oz. or

more) of water.

continue drinking good water throughout the day.

Lunch, if needed - repeat smoothie..

mid-afternoon - other half of orange or apple

dinner: tiny salad...no avocado/oils., with a squeeze of lemon juice

(or 1/8 of a lemon...)

rest more...to bed early...

Have fun...this is not precise...it doesn't have to be...

Hope this helps.

regards,

Bob
