Guest guest
A friend of mine made a sauce once with blended dates, golden raisins and water, and I believe she added some kind of spice (cinnamon or something like it). Cinnamon, of course, is not recommended, but the blended fruits with water made a nice thick topping. She also used it as a fruit dip for apples and pears. (I think it was about 1/2 dates and 1/2 raisins, and enough water for your desired thickness) Peace, Valerie " Gypsi at www.aromaticwings.com " <aromatic_wings wrote: Does anyone know how to make a caramel sauce like for an ice cream topping?? Guest guest
My 11 yr old dd made this recipe and we used it like a apple caramel dip. Food process or hand mash fresh dates (if not fresh, soak). She added a squirt of lemon or lime. If you added more liquid you could possibly make it more runny.
