Guest guest
Hello All.. After we'd returned from an exhilirating round of disc golf, I came home to no fresh, ripe bananas....still too green...rats. soooooo....decided to make some banana ice cream, with the remaining frozen bananas I had...wonderful! Recipe for Banana Toffee Ice Cream: 4 small, frozen bananas (no skins) 8 carmelita dates (pits removed!) Put all through Champion Juicer with " blank " plate in, altenating banana piece, date piece, etc.; catch the ice cream coming out the end. Unplug and take apart juicer, and scrape remainder of ice cream from insides. Yuummmm....with little to no imagination, it could really be Banana Toffee Ice Cream.... quick Nutridiary analysis shows the following: Calories: ~555 Kcal Carbohydrate %: ~94 Protein: %: ~ 3 Fat: %: ~ 3 too much fun, and a delightful treat Lunch. all the best, Bob
Guest guest
I don't have a Champion Juicer so I have no idea what this " blank " thing is that people keep talking about. What does it do? Could the same thing be accomplished with a food processor or a different kind of juicer? Donna

Yes, the same thing can be accomplished with a food processor or a different kind of juicer. The objective is to get the fruit from frozen back to semi-frozen, so it can be eaten, and then add the other ingredients, like carmelita dates! Hope this helps. Guest guest
It was very helpful Bob. Thank you for sharing. - Donna We take on a burden when we put a man behind a wall. That burden is to give him a chance to change. . . to deny him . . . is to plant the seeds of future anguish.
