Sorry but I completely disagree with this ... I hated dark leafy greens when I

first went raw,

but now I absolutely adore them, no oils or salt added. I often eat a full head

of dino kale

on its own for dinner. You're entitled to your opinion about dark greens, but

keep in mind

that some of us here love them :) :)

I actually find that the tender greens are too bland for me now, I prefer the

darker ones.

Do you remember how long it took before you felt this love for raw

greens. Do you think it depends on the time of year that you love them?

I was just curious.

It seems like I only like them in the spring and fall, never in the

winter, I am like that with bananas too, I hate bananas in the hot

months, but love them in the cold.

the original message that said that noone like raw untreated

greens...my three year old son won't eat them unless they are

untreated! He grabs a leaf when he sees it at the store the way some

people pick off a grape at the store. So it all depends on the person

I guess.

I actually grew kale in my organic garden, and the kale I ate while standing in

the garden was incredibly tender and sweet. Not at all tough like what we get in

the store. Lane

It probably took me a good two years on raw before I started to love greens as

much as I

do now. The first two years I was crazy about fruit, and did not eat many

salads (which

resulted in some dental problems, lots of cavities, probably from lack of

minerals). I don't

know what happened at that two year mark, but suddenly I fell in love with

greens. I can't

get enough of them now :) :)

Also I would add that there is a world of difference between organic greens and

conventional ones. Conventional kale still tastes awful to me. But organic is

heavenly. :)
