Guest guest
If I might point out that BARF and rawfeeding are truly two different things. Real rawfeeding is feeding your animal like it would eat in nature. BARF followers generally use a lot of supplements and/or veggies or premade/ground up meals that don't normally make up the raw diet of an animal in the wild. One easy way to envision rawfeeding is to simply ask yourself, " What did dogs/cats eat BEFORE commerical dog/cat food industries were invented? " They've been around for less than 100 years, it's a very interesting point to ponder, think about it. ;-) Shelly & the Angels of the Carolina's www.realpoodles.com Naturally reared, rawfed, unvaxed versatility in curls! Guest guest
Thanks Lynne~ I do appreciate your thoughts on this--very helpful! My dog has had the runs constantly for about 1 1/2 days, and it has been so upsetting to her & us (my young son thinks she " needs " her kibble back!). So, it has been making me question my move to raw! Do you do anything (garlic?) for worms? thanks again for sharing your knowledge/experience with us!
