Guest guest
Are these your personal conclusions or something you have picked up along the way? They all look good to me. I am also intrested in how long you have been following these precepts. Guest guest
sorry Bob. I'm reading my posts backwards, (due to the way my mail sorter works) and just came across your original post with source. They all look good to me. I am also intrested in how long you have been following these precepts. Thankyou, Lane --- oops..sorry, Lane and others.. forgot to mention the source (I had in another post, but not here.) Source: The Life Science Nutrition and Health Sciences Course, Lesson 3, p. 59. no, not my personal Conclusions -- T.C. Fry presented these as the basis for his LIfe Science System (Natural Hygiene based...) I think he died in the late 70s, early 80s, and I could be wrong there...pretty sure he's passed on, though...he includes a lot of reference to H.M. Shelton, also. as far as how long I've been following these precepts: I'm just a babe in the woods: don't even really understand what some of them mean, and am studying the Course/System now... Some of the precepts I've been aware of for years, others only in the last 2-3 months. The entire system I was aware of back in the late 70s, early 80s, when I had a serious run at " all RAW.. " [reminds me of another thought: " Knowledge without action is useless " ] The real recent learning for me, which I credit mostly to guidance/suggestions from Elchanan, is the addition/base of " sweet fruits " - back in the '76-'77 time frame, when I had only one child, etc...etc..I was 100% RAW, and eating primarily vagetables, many of them homegrown, lots of lettuce, lots of juices, carrot, and all of the NW Walker combinations. I " lost " (wording used deliberatley....'cuz I found it later...! lol!) lots of weight, and finally gave the whole RAW thing up, because I was almost *always* hungry. That is not the case for me today; with the " sweet fruit " base, I'm actually almost never hungry, and, as someone on the tennis courts told me last night, " ...you have a huge energy battery... " , referring to being able to play tennis for hours at a time...(also a " recent " change for me - like in the last 4-6 months, and since going raw.) I give the dietary change most of the credit, rebounding some of it,etc..etc.. Have a great day, and thanks for the clarifying question. all the best, Bob
Guest guest
Great list Bob, but the optimal-ist in me wants, maddeningly, to add one more to make it a cool 20. Can I, huh?
