Guest guest
Hey Folks, Ruth Hendrick's book " Senior Fitness " just came yesterday. I had grandchild here for the weekend, but managed to get into the third chapter and am already impressed. I think this book is really going to be inspirational and encouraging. The book focuses on the older adult, only because Ruth is 70 and has turned her life around after facing a serious illness, encouraging people regardless of their health that there can be reversal. Like Elchanan said, it would be a good book for any age and give those under 50 a headstart on prevention and direction. I like what she says about what the number one cause is that is killing people. Most people would say that it is heart disease, but she says she feels that the number one cause is " IGNORANCE " ! Guest guest
I looked on the New York City library catalog for this book and they didn't have it listed. Is it brand new? Guest guest
Hi Lane, I'm sorry I spelled her name wrong. The correct spelling is Ruth E. Heidrich, PhD. This book was published just this year and I also checked my local library catalog to see if it was there, but it wasn't. Probably just too soon yet. I purchased mine on Amazon and the cost was $15.00. What a great book and well worth the price. Don't let the title " Senior Fitness " throw you though. This woman has overcome her cancer and has the bone mass of a thirty year old. Vegigran > I looked on the New York City library catalog for this book and they didn't have it listed. Is it brand new?
