nice. One suggestion: where you say

I can see where some might perceive even this as judgmental language. If you

can express it in terms of your own feelings and needs, then it is entirely

personal, only coming from you. Just a thought, really ideas borrowed from

NVC.

I've been thinking about the overall tone this group has assumed over the

last week or so, and I am not the moderator, but I would like to encourage

everyone to take a deep breath, and maybe we can let go of some of this

anger and frustration that has taken over. For months this has been a very

healthy, generous and welcoming group, lots of information, lots of

discussion, and now most of the emails are not much more than attacks on

each other, and we are going way off course. These arguments in no way serve

to benefit the purpose and goals of this group; can we just take a step

back, wipe the slate clean, start again and give each other the benefit of

the doubt, rather than assuming bad intentions to each other? It feels like

we are imploding.

 

Roger, do you have any advice on how we can get it together here again?

True...I'm usually more careful about that. I think the last two " Doreen " emails

put me into reaction mode.....but that makes me a victim, doesn't it? :-( :-)

Sorry, folks, I did not mean for this to go to the whole group; but

since it has, let me apologize for being judgmental in the way I

stated my concern. I usually give myself time before responding to

things that concern me, but I was definitely in reaction mode, and

did not take time to think about what I was saying.

Hi Folks,

 

I haven't been aware of what has been going on in the group. I hear

there is some strife going on now. This seems to happen every now and

then.

 

I'd encourage everyone to not make any personal attacks on each other.

We also don't allow vulgar language or cursing in this forum. So if I

see that happening, that person will have to be moderated or possibly

banned.

 

Please argue principles if you must but don't attack each other. If

anyone has a problem and can show me the post or posts where the

problems were please send me an email.

this type of strife is inevitable on these lists, and there is no point in
