Guest guest
this is only partially thought out, and I'm looking for some assistance. Does anyone else see the need for some type of file " repository " - meaning somewhere where we could easily access files pertaining to Raw Foods, and Natural Hygiene? One of the things I'd definitely suggest adding is a " new member FAQ " that contains basic information, and site navigational tips. I've thought about creating another with *only* file storage. I have messaged Roger about the idea, and I've posted it here. We, Roger and I, have a semi-open email dialogue, with no direction/resolution yet. I have also offered to help " moderate " , primarily from an info storage/retrieval perspective. anyone have any thoughts? all the best, Bob

Guest guest
I've seen this in a few other . I think it is a great idea. It gives newbies a place to go for all the basics. That way we don't have to see the same information repeated over and over again. -Poppy rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of Doreen Nash Wednesday, May 04, 2005 12:26 PM rawfood Re: [Raw Food] Companion " File " posting area - File " repository " * that's nuts! who the hell else does that???? Hi Bob, Great idea! I've seen other that have a place where the moderator or group members can post attachments for group members to view, if they so desire. Sounds similar. Also like the " New Member FAQ " idea. Good to get the info out there up front. All the best, Jennifer
Guest guest
I think this would be awesome! I see there is a " files " category listed underneath " chat " . Could we not have files with different subjects listed there for reference? So if someone new had a question for instance about where to purchase dates, there might be the list of all the date suppliers that have been discussed. And of course topical info would be a great help, around subjects like calorie intake, fasting, acid vs alkaline etc... I would be happy to help in any way possible if needed. tess rawfood , " Bob Farrell " <rjf2@t...> wrote: > this is only partially thought out, and I'm looking for some assistance. > > Does anyone else see the need for some type of file " repository " - > meaning somewhere where we could easily access files pertaining to Raw > Foods, and Natural Hygiene? > > One of the things I'd definitely suggest adding is a " new member FAQ " > that contains basic information, and site navigational tips. > > I've thought about creating another with *only* file > storage. > > I have messaged Roger about the idea, and I've posted it here. > We, Roger and I, have a semi-open email dialogue, with no > direction/resolution yet. Guest guest
I am in 100% agreement, Bob. Hopefully, we will be able to access the Files Section in here shortly - and if not, then I am all for another group for that specific purpose - NOT to detract from THIS group in any way - but I do believe strongly that we need to have a Files Section that the members can access, absoloutly. I am willing to help with anything also; just give me a hollar anytime. :-) Bob Farrell <rjf2 wrote:this is only partially thought out, and I'm looking for some assistance.
