Rich,

You have a great way of stating how we plunge our way through the messes that we

keep getting ourselves into. People really do want to be creative and perform

just like God and look what has happened to the majority of us. Creativity is

good but is must be in the right perspective as God gave us all talents.

Because I have eaten meat all my life and cooked vegetables much of the time I

am paying for it now. Indigestion is a big problem and weight around the

organs. I am trying to adjust my eating habits eating more raw and drinking

structured water. I rarely eat out and I don't buy prepared foods. Hopefully

about 6 months down the road I will have succeeded my goals.

I don't think soaked nuts taste better. Nothing really tastes all

that great and I don't try to make things taste better. Everything

just has a taste. Unsoaked raw nuts have a taste, soaked nuts have a

taste, etc.

I don't want a taste to grow on me, it's not necessary, or practical

imo. I just chew my food and swallow it, the rest takes care of

itself. I'm not concerned with how much I chew it or what happens in

my mouth when it's being chewed. It doesn't seem necessary to me.

Hi Linda...

I noticed that you were fairly new here..

Is there something any of us can offer you in the way of support?

if you're looking for some good reading resources, see post 15236, by

Elchanan.

if you're loooking for some scientific support re: giving up the

meat/animal, try reading Campbell's " The China Study " - several posts

earlier about it.

all the best,

Bob

See I get compliments sometimes, not everyone hates me. Good luck

with this raw stuff Linda. Tons of people are suffering from excess

weight. I don't eat out, I have no reason to be there, but if I have

to I can always eat raw salad out. Hopefully six months down the

road I'll be happy with my raw life too.
