Guest guest
I have finally gotten below 110#. I am only 4'11 " - so that doesn't sound as good/bad as it might. At one time, for 18 months I ate 100% vegan - but not raw and stayed 112#, 112#, 112#. I've been vegetarian since 1994, but bounce back and forth between vegan and vegetarian (ice cream is - NO WAS - my downfall). I looked into raw a number of times, too. But never stayed on it for more than a day or two. The last month I've been on raw more than off, some days 100%, some 90%. I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 108#!!! My goal is 100#. I have been walking faithfully every day and most days doing rebounding. I look better, I feel better and I notice dietary indiscretions (like a horrible feeling when I indulged in pistachios). I am excited about this being a way of life! Thanks for the forum and the encouragement from you all.

So wanting to keep this feeling and heal inside so I can enjoy life I am over 47 and am feeling really good, too. That is exactly how I feel about wanting to feel good and heal inside - physically and emotionally. Not that I have any emotional problems, but I know that most of us can improve our outlooks, etc. in some way. > This empty nest is now ready for some new exciting things in life and I wasn't feeling up to it until I started raw.. Now the sky is the limit!!!! Welcome to the group!! My nest has been empty for quite a while - my son left for college 6 years ago and is now in Korea for a year. I, too, am wanting to experience life more fully. I'm thinking of taking a massage therapy course. They have Open House on Friday June 3 and I've signed up to go. Thank you for more inspiration with your post. >

Guest guest
gmroberson, Thank you for this news! It gives me hope that I won't be short and fat for the rest of my life and it also dismisses an excuse I have been using for a long time as to why I am still having trouble loosing weight (I am short and it is harder for short people to loose weight no matter what I loose I will still look fat....blah blah blah) Thank you for showing me I can't use that excuse anymore! (BTW I am 4'9) Love and kisses, Lu
