Guest guest
This go-round, I'm not so lucky. I'm on Day 49 of being raw, and I'm having hot flashes. Not funny! Does anyone have any suggestions of why this would be happening to me and how I can get " rid " of the hot flashes? Thanks! Annette Hello Annette and everyone, Hot flashes come in cycles - they are there for a while and then they go - can be monthly or whatever - I have had a few over the last week - quite mild ones actually but i know they will follow their usual pattern and disappear for a while again. Love Lynne

Debbie _____ This is really a matter of where your system was when you began eating all or nearly all raw, it is a matter of time. Annette, your experience now is different because you are different. You are at least a bit older. This is not a reference to aging, but rather simply to point out that your body had a couple more years to achieve increased hormonal imbalance. If you are patient, " this, too, shall pass. " Also, emotional ups and downs, supplements of ANY kind, household chemicals (personal hygiene, cleaning, kitchen, garage, etc.), inconsistent sleep or other disruptive sleep patterns, etc. can all have a significant impact on what you are experiencing. Please don't make the mistake of considering this a purely physical phenomenon. Even though you experience it physically, the underlying cause-and-effect relationships often go far beyond. I have worked with a number of women where, upon investigation, virtually the entire symptom set was emotionally driven -- and therefore could be resolved by making changes in the mind/subconscious. Annette, remember the work we did briefly a couple of weeks ago? That's pointing in the direction I mean. If anyone wishes to explore this mind-body connection, please email me privately at VLinfo, I am happy to talk with you. Guest guest
Oh, fine! LOL It would be so much easier to " cure " if it was physically driven. Just one more symptom of my being crazy, huh? This morning/afternoon I was out on an absolutely beautiful hike, surrounded by magnificence -- one would think that I would have been emotionally stable enough to get through without hot flashes, but no! Thanks for the news. Annette rawfood , " INFO @ Vibrant Life " <VLinfo@e...> wrote: Also, emotional ups and downs ... Guest guest
i am sorry i do disagree with this.....maybe helping with the emotional through raw diet did help the emotional but I bet the physical was fixed too at the same time.... I know mine are not from emotions.. menopause is menopause and it is physical.....are you going to say menopause is emotional?? not... it is hormonal imbalance.. which can be fixed in diet... rawfood , " INFO @ Vibrant Life " <VLinfo@e...> wrote: Also, emotional ups and downs ... Thanks for the news. Annette _____ Hi Annette and all, Just to be clear, I am not saying the challenges many women face with respect to menstruation and menopause are all emotional in origin and nature. These are largely driven by hormonal activity in the body, which on the face of it is physical in nature. However, hormonal activity is heavily influenced by many factors, primary among these are diet and state-of-mind. Most of the " mind " issues arise from the subconscious, from programming of which we are often largely unaware. And there are some very effective ways to address our subconscious programming, to write or rewrite permanent new programming that is self-supporting rather than self-limiting. It is accurate to state that many women experience consider improvement with respect to menstruation and/or menopausal " symptoms " when they adopt a healthy, or even a somewhat less healthy, RF diet. It is also accurate to state that many women ALSO benefit from working with their subconscious beliefs/programming, regardless of their diet. Therefore addressing both sides can only be of benefit. Hope this helps clarify a bit.
