Okay...now from reading the info on the International Natural Hygiene Society web page, I see that there are several different ideas (in fact a great debate that's apparently gone on for some time) from Natural Hygienist themselves on what, exactly, constitutes an optimal raw diet. I thought from the way it was talked about here, that frugavore/8-1-1 = N.H. period My mistake! ~denise

I guess if you have, you didn't believe/accept them > since you're still so convinced?? >--- Hey Denise...! lol! guess I've become a " hard core proponent " , eh? lol! yes, I have a bias...admittedly, a strong one toward Natural Hygiene - with the working definitions of it as follows: Natural - that to which we are biologically adapted, i.e., the sum total of our heritage from nature. Hygiene - The science of health. The word is derived from Hygeia, the goddess of health. Health - A condition wherein we have complete function of all of our faculties. A condition of perfect development. A state of of wholeness and harmonious operation of all body organs. I've frankly only seen a few " non-commercial " articles against Natural Hygiene. by " non-commercial " I mean ones that are not funded by, or sponsored by, the huge mega agribusinesses, which I also admittedly am convinced as slowly killing off both the planet and the its inhabitants. whew... I would say, yes, I'm convinced, primarily because it makes just so much sense, and it appears to work. Living in harmony with Nature seems ok to me...and I'm willing to work to learn more, and yes, always consider " alternate " viewpoints. I've posted previously about my belief of not needing to have all of my learning be " experiential " - I'd like to be able to learn from others. all the best, Bob
