Guest guest
I thought I would pass this along. We have been talking much of food combining etc.. and been told what goes with what.. but when one gets into the kitchen to make a smoothie sometimes what we have read here just goes out the window and I for one can not remember the correct combinations of some things. So today I just decided to go looking on the web fo a chart and found a great one.. here is the link to it on the web.. there is a link on this page for a pdf version to you can print it out... http://www.thewolfeclinic.com/foodcombining.html Maybe with this on my fridge... I will not be so brain dead..lol
Guest guest
Thanks for the link, Debbie! That's the exact same chart that I had printed out for me on a nice color photo printer, and I have it hanging inside one of my cabinet doors. The only thing I think it's missing is the ability to combine an acid fruit, like oranges/strawberries, with a " protein/fat " , like nuts, to create a dressing, if wanted for salads. And - note - once the PDF is printed out, there is *zero* reference on it to tell you where you got it. So,...thanks again, I now know from whence it came!@ all the best, bob rawfood , " Gypsi at www.aromaticwings.com " <aromatic_wings> wrote: > I thought I would pass this along. Guest guest
As we " speak, " I'm having one of Bob's Banana/Celery Smoothies. It's going to take some getting used to. Still too much of the celery (cholorphyll?) taste for me, even with four bananas and four dates. Interesting I should say that since I'm sure there's plenty of chlorophyll in my current favorite smoothie (2 oranges, small apple, 1/4 lb. spinach). Looking at the food combining chart, I probably shouldn't be whizzing up banana with lemon juice for salad dressing ... I sure miss my tropical smoothies (orange, pineapple, banana, and sometimes fresh coconut). I think it was more fun when I thought all fruit (except melons) could be eaten together.
