Hello all...!

I'm just in the middle of this part of the LSHS. It has 6

lessons/chapters, 39-44. (whew..almost half way - there are

106...chuga chuga choo-choo.! lol!)

It deals with Food supplements, dangers of drug medication (OTC and

presc.), Thanks for not smoking, Why Herbs Should not be used, Cookig

our Food, and Overeating, Fasting Fanaticism and Diet Fanaticism.

I'm just staring on the cooked food one.

I've found them interesting, and informative.

If anyone has any interest, I could post capsule summarizes as I go

along...if not interest, no need for me to do that...

and, as an aside, after a post on RawSchool with Blake

about " cleanses " , etc, I was discussing this with my wife, and she

said something like " ....oh good, does that mean that we get to

reclaim drawer and cupboard space....? " I guess I'd been saving

them for a " rainy " day/emergency. I completely discarded my entire

collection of let's see - INtestinal cleanser #1 and #2, psyllium,

collodial bentonite, vit. C powder, various individual amino acid

powders, various herbal formulas, vitamin holders (3 different

sizes...., each 7 days...), Hulda Clarke stuff, metaline,

etc...etc....filled up almost a 13 gallon trash can....well, not

really full...and it was a lot of stuff. I was

feeling " funky/hypocritical " -- why was I keeping this stuff? I tell

myself that it cannot help me....and...if it's not around, one less

temptation/challenge to deal with.

I'm not...it's gone...I continue to work on connecting knowledge and

action, to equal learning.

all the best,

Bob (fellow journeyman!)

Life Science Health System, an older " course " put out by T.C. Fry

before he died. It's a massive pile of paperwork: like 2,500 pages,

arranged into 106 lessons. Some of the info is no longer current,

and I find that most of it is providing me a good

starting " base " ......see Nora Lenz's board, rawschool, or her

webpage:

http://www.rawschool.com/course.htm

she sells the course, including the worksheets (read:quizzes), and

the exams for each chapter/unit/part. I bought my copy from Nora.

She's also a knowledgeable, fun lady.

Hi, Bob, thanks for sharing this; I went through much the same thing a while

ago, also getting rid of several books/resources that were no longer helpful to

me. The part that has been most painful to me is realizing the huge financial

investment I had made in a lot of this stuff. At the same time, it was an

amazingly " bliss-filled " moment, too; very freeing! I no longer had to subject

myself to all the discomfort and even pain that some of those things induced. It

has been great to be able to be gentle with myself in all ways.

Peace, Valerie

Hi Valerie!

welcome...and yes, my dw asked me as I was pitching it all: " what is

all that stuff worth? " ...I of course, tongue in cheek replied: " why,

nothing..it's trash....do you often put a price on what is being

discarded? " <== ok...not my finest moment, and then we discussed it

further. and yes, I've cleaned out some books that no longer serve

me, and I've rearranged some others to make them more accessible.

and yes, it was all very " freeing " !

all the best,

Great to hear. I want to do something like this too. I have shelves of expensive

vitamins I want to get rid of/give away. I've taken all the books off the

shelves as I am getting the apartment painted. This is a perfect opportunity to

purge some un wanted books. Now you've inspired me. Thanks, Lane

This is motivating! I've got some Formula #1, #2 Lower Bowel

cleansing tablets and a few other things in a bag. I was going to

give them to a friend who uses things like this.

But really, after all, that wouldn't be very nice, would it?

Thanks

Glenda
