Guest guest
Hi Bob, Thanks for your reply! I'd just like to comment on whole foods vs. fractionated foods. I understand the points you are making. I followed the Doug Graham and Herbert Shelton approach for a couple years, but I have changed course. Now I prefer to study the teachings of people like Norman Walker, Jay " The Juiceman " Kordish, Gabriel Cousens, Viktoras Kulvinskas, Ann Wigmore, Brian Clement, Jack LaLanne, and others. One thing that makes the people I listed so healthy is juice. They make a dicipline of drinking fresh raw juice on a daily basis. After drinking fresh green juice and wheatgrass juice on a daily basis for the past year, I've never felt better! I'm growing younger and healthier each day. Fresh juice is what helped Norman Walker live to be 114 years old in perfect health. Jack LaLanne and Jay Kordich are in their 80's and 90's in perfect health and juice every day. Cousens and Clement are in their 60's in perfect health. I want to look like Jay " The Juiceman " when I'm 85 years old! ==> http://www.aniadesign.com/JayKordich If I followed the Natural Hygiene guidelines, I wouldn't drink juice because it isn't found in nature and it's not a whole food. That's where Natural Hygiene loses me. I'd rather follow the time tested methods of juicing taught by Norman Walker rather than the whole foods guidelines. Norman Walker got it right! He is my hero. I'll be drinking juice every day of my life, I'm not concerned with the whole foods vs. fracinated foods because I've experienced that it doesn't matter. Things like olive oil and coconut oil are the juice of coconuts and olives. They are processed below 110 degrees so they are raw foods. They may be fractionated but the health benefits I've experienced far outway any potential loss in nutrients. Here is my time tested approach: Fresh Green Juice 1. Is it a whole food? No 2. Is it raw? Yes 3. Is is eye-appealing? Green is my favorite color, but my cooked food friends think it's ugly! 4. Does it smell good? I love the smell, but my cooked food friends say " No Way! " 5. Does it taste good? I think it does, but my cooked food friends all say " NO! " 6. Is it found in Nature? No! 7. Could I make a meal of it? Yes, it is my favorite meal! My conclusion? Drink Raw Vegetable Juice Every Day! ~*~*~*~*~*~* Mike Snyder http://www.therawdiet.com " Transform Your Diet and Improve Your Health In Record Time with Proven, Time- Tested, Evolutionary Strategies. Is coconut oil a whole food? No (I'd probably stop right here...)
