Guest guest
Hi, anybody know of a juicer that will make almond milk? I love it but I don't like the hassle of making it. I saw a Sunpen (I think it was) Brand juicer in an oriental food store (pretty cheap) that said it would make soy milk, so I figure it could probably handle almonds too. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks, you'll be helping me get off the soymilk tit. love & peace Susan
Guest guest
Susan, The Vita Mix makes wonderful almond milk. Great smoothies too, of course. It's the one piece of equipment I have bought for raw food. You just dump the nuts in and add water. Letterrip! Good luck. Guest guest
I know the SoyaJoy brand can make almond milk as well, but it is heated to boiling, so it would not be raw, if that is a concern at this point for you. Guest guest
My dh uses a Soymilk maker to make his own soymilk on a regular basis. When I want Almond Milk, I use it, without the Heat component. It really does the " blending " and straining all in one go. But if we didn't have that, I'd probably just " blend " the almonds and strain the solids out.
