Guest guest
Well, this is going to be tougher than I thought. My mind went ballistic over a chocolate chip cookie I didn't try last night. I thought I could just go back to my happy rawdom in a day, but no way. I have a lot of processing to do before I can get back to where I was mentally before my relapse. Back then I could easily not eat anything that wasn't raw, now my mind is very much out of array. Well, I can at least observe myself a little better like I've heard, rather than going to drinking and everything, I can just wait until I can get fully raw again. All I need is four or five days in a row, with some good sleep and I'll be back to mentally strong about it. How long could that take? Well, I've been playing with relapse for almost a month now, but quite frankly, once I relapsed I felt like going whole hog into it, I don't feel like going whole hog into it anymore. Still though, once I lose raw, anything's a possibility. There was some free food at a discussion that I just ate. Once I go non-raw in a day I'm susceptible and weak for anything. I don't really feel like buying beer and smokes though, but there's a little reception at 5:30 that I'll probably have something at. Well, hopefully I can get it back and keep it tomorrow. I keep saying this and one way or another through my crazy psyche, it has to come true, and I have to get it back strongly. Somehow I'll spin my mind back into those coordinates. I think the mind is like a Rubic's Cube. It's hard to say just what all the elements are that goes into getting it back on track but the goal is still to make each side its color. I'd like a little spiritual help which I don't seem to get. Every time I get raw, something gets thrown right in my face. The other day I started out raw and somebody first thing in the morning in a strange part of Philadelphia walks right up to me and offers me a free nutrition bar. Like why do these things have to go this way? The last time raw, about a month into it, lust was thrown in my face but I withstood it that time, but it took a long time to overcome. Why can't I just get a little time without being disturbed by the world? Oh well, maybe writing a little about it will help, I'll get it back, if I just knew which my Rubic's Cube was going to spin in order to set itself right...that would be nice. Guest guest
Oh yeah, that place I mentioned in the first paragraph, well I wasn't going to find the same chocolate cookie, as I was at a reception, but I went to their cafeteria thinking they baked their own and I was right. So I had a cookie that I think was similar to the one I passed up, at least I think I'm over this particular cookie craving for today at least, and probably for good. It's amazing how resentment can drive me to eat what I don't want to eat. And the obsession on some food item is phenomenally overwhelmingly powerfully mindal driven energy that's unbelievably strong. I'd have never guessed that the mind could be so whacked out in such a way. Gives me some understanding as to how some unfortunates are mindally obsessed in an uncontrollable manner in some criminal way. Once I eat something it usually doesn't bother me for a long time. Well, I've been trying to get raw by eating everything that's not raw for about 15 years now and there's no way you can cover even a small percentage of new cooked creations, no matter how long you try eating them all. I said I passed up that cookie last night, actually I studied it, smelled it, broke it up and threw in the trash without eating it. I've done that before, hoping I could not eat something raw, has anyone else done this? Rich rawfoodeaters , " Froggy " <seconaphim> wrote: > Well, this is going to be tougher than I thought. Kay here; " I'd like a little Spiritual help which I don't seem to get " Learning about how you attract what you experience would be enlightened by the following - AND are really interesting to watch/read.. If you are in " Relapse " mode take a book with you to the cafe or whatever and read it with your whatever food.. 'The Matrix' Series 'Equilibrium' 'The book of Secrets' - Deepak Chopra 'How To know God' - Deepak Chopra 'Conversations With God' - Neil Donald Walsh (highly recomended and best if you can listen to on a tape/c.d version - listen when you get into bed for a good nights sleep!) 'The Infinite Way' - Joel Goldsmith (Highly recomended) 'The Art of Spiritual Healing' - Joel Goldsmith (Read this one last if you like the above) Joel is deceased, but he's american so you can order his books. Guest guest
Hi Froggy, having been trying to go raw for only a few weeks I cannot answer your's or anyone's detailed questions about raw food - however, spirituality and 'stuff' coming up when you go raw I DO know about. It happens anytime we stop doing or ingesting whatever we use to stuff old feelings, issues and limitations. And isn't it wonderful how the universe just responds to our own inner energies??? Apparently you have used food to not feel for a long time. So when you eat healthily for you, all those emotions come up. When that begins, some part of you gets agitated, resentful and puts out that energy strongly. Then the universe/god/your higher self (whatever you want to call it) responds by bringing something into your awareness to stop the strongest emotions. Hence being offered cooked food. Do you have any methods that work for you to get centered or calm or handle these emotions that does not involve a substance that hurts your body? If not, now would be a good time to find something. Guest guest
I know I attract what I experience from my study of the Seth books long ago and the idea that " you create your own reality. " Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm not much into reading anymore. But maybe, we'll see, if I get bored enough. Guest guest
emotions definitely come up eating raw, and food is used by most people to not feel. i just don't like it more than others. i guess you could say the the universe/god/my higher self is being kind and offering me something to stop the aggravation, i didn't look at it that way since they know I want to go through what i have to go through to stay raw and if anything, they should be helping me with that. i meditate regularly, that's all i really need from a spiritual, calming standpoint. the computer's gonna shut me off, gotta go, thanks for commenting. rich rawfood , <down2earthspirit> wrote: > Hi Froggy, having been trying to go raw for only a few weeks I cannot answer your's or anyone's detailed questions about raw food - however, spirituality and 'stuff' coming up when you go raw I DO know about. Don't mind if I'm blunt From this end it sounds like you " have your head up your arse " Your attitude closes every door that could be opened further. You think you have it all figured out and that " they " " out there " " should " help you.. You may re-incarnate many times in many forms before you learn, unlearn and relearn what you want to know. Meanwhile Your circumstances are perfect - There are no mistakes in nature. Maybe the computer is shutting you down to give you a message? - Stop blabbing and listen I wish you all the best - it's hard with your mind, I know xx My bluntness I write with loving humour - " Those who can laugh at themselves will never ceased to be amused " Make sure you detach and have a joke with yourself if nothing else.. Guest guest
as usual i'm down to eight minutes on the computer, so here goes. Be blunt, it doesn't bother me at all, i'm probably that way myself, but especially when i'm on limited time to type, gotta just get to the point because there just isn't enough time. i don't know about the head up my arse comment, i've studied a ton of new age material in my lifetime and i'm pretty familiar with the path to spiritual growth, like i do believe in reincarnation for example. as long as i'm raw, my attitude and my life are great, everything goes relatively smooth for me as far as people relations and events and things, etc. i'm not looking for any help per se, i know how it works, i'm also quite aware of the fact that i create my own reality through my beliefs, that no one is a victim in any way, shape or form. but sometimes there is help and it's good to have, you just can't expect it is all. this is my one and only incarnation on this planet, i hope. there are no coincidences, so running out of time on here is something i did to myself for some reason. humor is good. rawfood , " korangeli " <korangeli> wrote: > Kay here; > - Last one from me. > Don't mind if I'm blunt > From this end it sounds like you " have your head up your arse " > Your attitude closes every door that could be opened further. > You think you have it all figured out and that " they " " out > there " " should " help you.. > You may re-incarnate many times in many forms before you learn, > unlearn and relearn what you want to know. > > Meanwhile Your circumstances are perfect - There are no mistakes in > nature. > Maybe the computer is shutting you down to give you a message? - Stop > blabbing and listen > > I wish you all the best - it's hard with your mind, I know xx > My bluntness I write with loving humour - > > " Those who can laugh at themselves will never ceased to be amused " > > Make sure you detach and have a joke with yourself if nothing else..
